How to Start a Website using WordPress

WordPress had been around for more than 10 years now, if you’re still didn’t know anything about WordPress then you should take the tour here for more info. WordPress is a web content management system software or blogging tools you can use to create and start a beautiful website or blog. It had been use by more than 100 millions users worldwide. More than 40% Company 500 now starting to make the transition from using a customize content management system to a more simpler and easy manage-able blogging platform such as WordPress.

Here i am going to teach you how to start a website using WordPress. Please be mind this tutorial is for beginner users with at least some knowledge in website hosting and ftp usage.

1. Register Your Own Domain Name

Let’s start by Choosing a Domain Name for yourself. Always try go for the “.COM” if you’re seriously wanted to start a successful website or brand. If you have the budget in the future, grab the remaining “.NET”, “.ORG” and “.CO” of your domain name and redirect them to your “.COM” if needed.

Once completed, you’re done. Yes, That’s all there is to it. You’ll have to wait 24 to 48 hours though, before you can access your website using your domain name.

4. Create a FTP account

5. Install WordPress manually via FTP

There are a couple of ways to install WordPress, and you should do it in a way that works for you. Some hosts have “one-click” installs via applications that install WordPress without you getting your hands dirty. You can also install it manually with an FTP client or Shell access. 6. Choose the right WordPress theme for your new website

7. Start publishing your posts
